Most mental skills work fails because it stays theoretical. We don't do worksheets and frameworks in isolation, everything is applied directly to your sport, your competition environment, and your actual pressure situations. You'll have tools you can use in the next training session after your first session with me. And I don't move on until what we're working on is actually landing.
Sports psychologists typically focus on assessment, diagnosis, and clinical mental health support. I'm a high-performance coach, which means we work practically and proactively on the mental skills that directly affect how you perform, and the performance habits, systems, and frameworks that make improvement predictable and sustainable. It's action-oriented, applied to your real training and competition environment, and built to produce measurable results fast.
Some of the most meaningful results I've seen have come with serious amateurs and semi-professionals. What I look for isn't your current level, it's your intent. The breathing and nervous system work often kicks in fast, most athletes feel a meaningful shift within the first few sessions. Deeper work on confidence, identity, and performing under pressure takes longer, typically 3 to 6 months to fully embed. I'll give you an honest read on timelines from our first conversation.
We start most programmes on a 3-month minimum, because real change needs a runway. After that it's month-to-month, no lock-ins, no long contracts. The free call comes before any commitment so you know exactly what you're getting into before anything is agreed.
Yes. Everything is online via Zoom, so location isn't a barrier. I work with athletes across New Zealand, Australia, the UK, and beyond. Time zones are manageable and we'll sort scheduling on the call.
One 60-minute Zoom session per week, direct messaging access for between-session questions and accountability, and a personalised programme of practices and protocols to work through in your own time. It's built to integrate with your existing training load, not pile on top of it.

I've spent over a decade coaching high-performers and a lifetime studying what separates those who fulfil their potential from those who fall short of it. I've coached Super Rugby players, international representatives, WBA boxing champions, world-ranked tennis professionals, and elite athletes across rugby, basketball, tennis, combat sports and more. What I've learnt is that very few athletes actually train the core mental skills that enable them to execute under pressure, reliably. That gap is the biggest opportunity I see for any athlete, at any level.
